Flash Software Engineer

Role: Flash Software Engineer

We are looking for a software developer for our front end flash games who wants to help create original IP based games for Facebook. You love small games as much as GTA. You're a team player with talent. You're accountable and work well under pressure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development of new games and related features using ActionScript, Flash and Flex
  • Contribute to the evolvement of our existing games
  • Maintain detailed design documentation throughout the project cycle
  • Maintain and ensure the games are always up and running in a 24/7 environment
  • Mentor and coach jr. programmers
  • Fix bugs as prioritized
  • Ensure our products meet Facebook and other social media standards
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Technical Director or Project Manager

Required Skills:

3+ years with the following Skills

  • CS 3/4
  • Flex
  • Expertise in Flash Development: Actionscript (AS3), CPU/Memory optimization, JavaScript/Flash Bridging, Cross-browser compatiblilty
  • Game Development experience

    Nice to Have Skills:

    3+ years with the following Skills

  • Working with AMFPHP
  • Facebook API knowledge
  • XML
  • UI Design Experience
