9th sphere, a leading and award-winning website solutions company, is searching for a talented and an organized professional to join our team as a Senior web developer / programmer. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Lead Developer with departmental tasks. This position entails collaboration with the project coordinators and designers to create the architecture of web based systems, coordinating a team of developers, programming, and ensuring the quality control of finished projects. An organized, proactive and detail oriented individual is essential to work with our talented team. The ideal candidate will want to be on the cutting edge of web based technologies, working with clients and 9th sphere's future business while keeping up the standard of being leaders in the industry.
Responsibilities:
•Work with the team in producing sizing’s for project & assisting Project Coordinators in preparation of Business Requirement
•Preparing design documents at the program, system & project levels
•Lead the team in quality assurance, preparing & executing test cases at the unit & systems levels
•Lead the team in developing code as per the documented design & coding guidelines within the timeframes specified in the project schedule
•Working on a range of projects - from maintaining / updating existing sites to creating custom web applications
•Mentor & lead a technical team of junior to senior level programmers
Required Skills:
•Minimum 5 years of related experience required
•Works well with others, motivates & strong team player
•Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented PHP, MySQL, Java, HTML & CSS
•Intermediate knowledge of ASP, ASP.NET, VB, C#, MS-SQL
•Working knowledge of Flash, ActionScript, JavaScript
•Knowledge of Photoshop & Dreamweaver
•Knowledge of best practices, web standards & browser compatibility
•Writing technical specifications as required
•Disciplined, organized & reliable work habits
•Detail & quality driven
•Requires strong communication & writing/documenting skills
Education:
University Degree in related field.
