Strangeloop Networks is hiring a full time Blogger to play a key role in executing our communications strategy. You will work with the marketing team to own all social media activities at Strangeloop. This position requires outstanding writing skills, a passion for new media and social networking, curiosity about technology and how to communicate effectively with various audiences, great attention to detail and the ability to interact proactively with stakeholders on all levels of our organization.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement social media campaigns with a focus on technology, including content creation, editing and publishing;
• Manage, monitor and engage in social media/Internet communities with responsibility for representing the Strangeloop brand.
• Create and own social media contact calendar.
• Define and track campaign performance. Provide regular reports to internal stakeholders on campaigns and social media metrics.
Requirements:
• Understanding of social media environments, best practices and current technology.
• Strong writing skills. Writing samples, including blog posts, will be required during the interview process.
• Post secondary education (Marketing, English, Journalism, Communication or other related disciplines).
